Nairobi is the capital and the largest city of Kenya. It was built in 1899 as a rail depot on the Uganda Railway and takes its name from a water hole known to the Maasai people as Enkare Nairobi or “cold water.”

  • Nairobi National Musuem:
A visit to this museum is the best way to start our journey in Kenya. Here, we'll get an introduction to the country's rich heritage segmented by culture, nature, history, and contemporary art.
  • Giraffe Center:
The giraffe center was set up as a breeding center for the endangered Rothschild giraffe, a subspecies of the giraffe only found in the grasslands of East Africa. Not only do we get to admire them up close, but we get to feed them too!
