Health & Safety
This tour is a well-paced active tour that includes walking on inclined or uneven surfaces. We're sorry, but guests under 6 years old or in wheelchairs are not encouraged to join this tour due to lack of accessibility in hotels and many sites.
Quito is located 9,350ft above sea level. Travelers may experience altitude sickness in destinations higher than 8,000ft above sea level. Common symptoms include headache, nausea, shortness of breath, fatigue, and lack of appetite. For most travelers, it is a manageable condition through medication, herbal remedies, and breathing exercises. Please consult your personal health care provider before travel.
We strongly encourage you to visit the CDC website and check with your health care provider for a list of recommended and required shots when traveling to Ecuador and other South American countries.
In the spirit of "Travel Happy" we do not believe in hidden fees - no unmarked options are sold on tour.
TRIPLE (3 bed) rooms are limited and not guaranteed in all hotels. Please check with us for availability.
We want everyone to have a great dining experience while traveling with us! If you have special dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate, but we regret some preferences may not be available due to cultural differences.
Porterage service included in all hotels, train stations, and airports where available.
Domestic airlines in Ecuador allow 1pc of checked luggage (up to 50lbs).
